Rules of the kestrel’s perch
Revised 1 November 2026
Reading Kestrelvalearcade
Kestrelvalearcade is a free reading site about virtual pet and creature breeding games. You can read every review, guide and comparison without making an account, signing up or paying anything, and nothing is sold here.
By using the site you agree to these house rules. They are short, and we have tried to write them as plainly as the rest of the site.
Scores are our considered opinion
Every score, ranking and verdict reflects the editors’ judgement after playing each game over several weeks. Games change often, with new breeds, festivals and balance updates arriving all the time, so a review describes the game as we found it.
If you spot something that has changed or that we got wrong, please write to editors@kestrelvalearcade.com. We check every correction ourselves and update the page when it holds up.
Leaving the vale for a game’s official site
Buttons marked for play open the official website of that game in a new tab. Once you are there, you are using the publisher’s service, and its own terms of use and privacy policy apply.
Accounts, purchases and anything else you do inside a game are arranged between you and that game’s publisher.
Whose names, whose words
Game names, logos and artwork belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify the games we review.
The writing, illustrations, the kestrel Pell and the design of Kestrelvalearcade are our own. You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back; please ask before reproducing anything larger.
Good manners on the perch
Please use the site for personal reading. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it in bulk or pass off our reviews as your own work.
We may adjust the site, its content or these rules from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
Which law applies
These house rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If any part of these rules turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply as written.
